Renuvion® is a FDA approved, non-surgical procedure for skin tightening. Renuvion® is also referred to as J Plasma or J Plasty. The procedure tightens loose skin with a minimally invasive technique often as a complement to liposuction. With Renuvion®, there's no invasive surgery, extended recovery or large surgical scars.
During the procedure, the Renuvion energy is applied just underneath the skin with a tiny incision, heating the collagen and other structures to the temperatures needed for optimal tissue contraction. This heating is done quickly and the tissue is cooled back to baseline in less than 1 second.
